As we approach our 51st year, the Sun Valley Suns Alumni Association (SVSAA) is excited to announce its renewed commitment and an active membership and fundraising drive. Our primary goal remains the long-term financial health of Suns Hockey, assuring the team is here for another 51 years.

The Suns organization, which began with the vision of founders like George Gund and John Weekes, has always relied on the generosity of alumni and supporters. To secure the team's future, the SVSAA is focused on creating greater self-sufficiency and back up stability.

Our Mission and Impact

The SVSAA exists to connect the past and present of Suns Hockey and provide financial support if needed. Your participation directly contributes to a fund that stands by in the case of unforeseen financial circumstances and that promotes the other goals of the SVSAA which include fostering a connection between current players and Alumni and promoting annual Alumni events that bring the Suns’ broader community together on a regular basis each year. 

As one of the oldest continually operating hockey clubs in America, we are proud of our traditions and invite you to join us on this journey.
